Fulton allowed Usher to skip voting line | www.ajc.com

What do you think? Any pros?

Personally, I think it's BS. Does anybody who thinks he is somebody think he can get special treatment at a polling place? If it was that big of a deal, he could have gotten an absentee ballot.

I don't blame Usher for trying, I blame the poll workers for being idiots.

Celebrities are important to Atlanta. They must be worshipped or they may move to LAa.

It's best to get him in and out just to avoid any commotion. You know how crazy it would be with everybody getting out of line to get an autograph from him

Did that allow him to vote on a machine? They should have had him do a provisional ballot.

How did Fulton County happen to notice they lost Ushers ballot and how did they know how to contact him? Sorry but that does not make sense.

The picture that he took of himself voting (which was specially approved) added insult to injury. If he wanted to send a positive message to youth about voting etc, he should have stood in line with the masses and let those pictures get released to the masses.

At worse he could have had someone stand in line for him and when they go close to the front he could have stepped in line but even then, I would expect him to go through the motions of showing his ID etc like the rest of us.

A woman at my polling place walked to the front of the line, told the poll worker she had a fainting disorder and was granted immediate access to the voting booth.
I'll have to file that one away for the next election.
