I am considering a move to the Atlanta area to work at the Corporate office of Home Depot on Paces Ferry Road. I've been to Atlanta many times but don't know a lot about what it would be like to live there.

• Looking for an area that is upscale. I don't mind the suburbs but I prefer an area with a distinct vibe with a sense of community. Semi upscale.
• I don't want to spend hours in rush hours traffic. 30 minute commute or less.
• I like an area that has a good level of conveniences such as a good mall, supermarkets, shops and services.
• I want to live in a condo, preferably a townhouse. A would consider a multilevel building. I don't want to feel mushed in by thousands of condos.
• I'd like to spend up to $350,000, but would rather have a good deal.
• Low crime is important.
• Friendly is important.
• Attractive is important.
• Interesting is important.

If anyone knows what it is like to work at Home Depots corporate office, that would be appreciated.

What are your thoughts?

You'll have no problem. East Cobb and North Fulton counties meet your requirements.

East Cobb has no cities.
North Fulton:
Sandy Springs
Alpharetta
Roswell
Johns Creek
North DeKalb:
Dunwoody
There are also lots of nice historic neighborhoods in City of Atlanta that are close to Vinnings, where the Home Depot HQ is.
Atlanta https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&l...11494&t=m&z=14
Whitter Mill Village
Riverside
Margret Mitchell
West Peachtree Battle- maybe out of your price range.

Seems like you pretty much described Vinings. And it's right next to Home Depot, so there you go.
