Hello all I am planning to move to Georgia and stay a long while. I have done some research but still in need of more information.I want to stay close to Atlanta no more than a 1 1/2 hours away

1. Budget------I need rentals under 675 monthly
2. House/Condo/Townhome?-------- I prefer a house, townhouse, lastly an apartment
3. Employment Status(commute/work from home)----I am in the healthcare profession, but will take something like warehouse jobs or office jobs
4. Children(public school vs. private)-------Public schools and colleges
5. Suburban or Urban lifestyle preference or a mix of the two------Mix it up
6. Easy access to public transit, important or not? -----important but not needed....but just in case
7. -------night life is needed
8. ----- I want to be no more than 1 1/2 hours away from Atlanta
9 --------I'm not worried about crime but i don't want to get shot walking down the street, so i guess low crime neghborhoods would be a plus

Get the job first and then move. You can't determine a max rent until you know what your salary will be. I recommend searching on indeed.com.

i agree, i think the job thing is going to determine everything else, do you have money saved up or family that can help you get settled?

Definitely. You will also want to live near where you're working, so you don't get stuck in traffic any more than necessary.

Move here first. It's easier to find a job with a local mailing address. If you don't find a job right away, you can always pandhandle downtown. Easy way to make six figures.
