Gwinnett Daily Post | Cops: Cancer patient stabbed 20 times by robbery-driven neighbor

I just wanted to know what you guys think about this.

I know a poster recently said that Lawrenceville has gotten really bad with crime, but I thought that was an exaggeration....maybe it wasn't.

I looked on Google maps at the street where this happened and did a street view. It looks perfectly fine, well kept up houses and it seems just like a regular neighborhood with no obvious red flags.

What do you suppose is happening? I would be freaked out if this happened in my neighborhood. You almost have to believe that there was more of a motive than simple burglary. Don't you think it is incredibly odd for 2 teens with no real criminal records to all of sudden stab a neighbor to death?

Ugh, I knew before hand that they would be black. Why does it always have to be black people? It's hard to defend your own race when it seems they cause the most trouble.

A vast majority of the more major crimes in the Atlanta area is done by blacks, especially within the city proper(Blacks are about 55% of the population in the city proper).

For example, I have not seen one GSU campus alert in the 2 1/2 years I've attended this school that has been none other then a black person...you can go look at them all and I honestly shake my head.

Georgia teen kills father with Samurai sword - Atlantic City Headlines | Examiner.com

What you learn is that if a white teen does something they never post the pic. It's just usual racially biased news media.

I was specifically talking about the Atlanta metro area. If you consider a small town 60 miles north of Atlanta to be part of the metro, then I don't know what to tell you.

I don't think that's true. I've seen stories with pictures of the kid who killed his father with a sword, as well as stories about this Gwinnett stabbing that didn't have pictures of the perps.

Let's be real. That is not part of the urban area of Atlanta. 60 miles north of Atlanta? Really? I'm not even sure LA spans that far.

Looks like the crime is creeping into the suburbs without the help of MARTA?! The suburbs are no longer a non-minority, middle and up class, crime free haven of the 1960's. The suburban counties will have to deal with the same issues of the urban cities; homeless, poverty, crime, and diverse population.
