We are moving to Atlanta from Wisconsin.
We want to stay within 10 -15 minutes drive time of Cumberland Mall.
We are looking for an apartment 1 bedroom 1 bath (minimum) with a lockable garage (prefer a two car). We have to have the garage for our goldwing and ATV's. On site parking for our 14' utility trailer would also be wonderful but not a requirement if we can find off site storage that is reasonable and not to far away.
I would like washer and dryer hookups in the apartment and at the least an on-site laundry facility.
We would like to stay under $1,200 a month including the garage but would pay a little more for 2 car garage or two garages.
I would prefer an open floor plan, kitchen, dinning, and living room all one room and to be on the ground floor.
We also have to have a job transfer clause in the lease. My husband can be transfered after 1 year and will be transfered no more than 3.
Any suggestions on apartments.
I have looked at most on the web and just want the opinions of regular people.

Look at Post Spring, Post Vinings, Magnolia at Vinings. There's another one right at the corner of Paces Mill and 41 that seems nice, directly across from the Kroger. Forgot the name. Maybe someone knows this...

They used to be called Columns at River Parkway, but they changed names recently. I should know this because I drive by there every single day, but the name escapes me.

Back to the question at hand - I think it'll be difficult to find a 1 bedroom apartment with a 2 car garage. You might have to go more "upscale" like Post Riverside to find that, but then again, that also means rents go way up.
