Thank you all for your help. I have some friends and family in atlanta in various areas but I wanted to get some outside opinions as well. I am very excited, seems like there is a lot of opportunity and some great people there. I will continue to keep my eye on the boards for others who ask about moving advice and check out all of the areas y'all have suggested.

Oh and testa thank you for the website recommendation, good stuff!

Look @ west midtown, Alexan metro west Apartments, lived there and loved it.

Took a look at this place online and i really like it! I will check it out the next time I get up there which should be January. Looks like there are still plenty of places to walk to in west midtown, maybe it's a little less crowded than being directly in the middle of midtown? Can you tell me a little more about that area? Is there still Marta access? Easy to meet people? Safe? Thanks so much for the recommendation!
