The Baptists do, though, and that's why some people aren't fans. For example,we only just got their boot of our neck with Sunday sales last year.

I thought 24 was offensive, too.

However, as one who grew up in the Southern Baptist church I can't get too upset about a little kidding about church camps and retreats. Any time you get a bunch of young folks together for a road trip (whether they are Christians or not) there's going to be a certain amount of hijinks. In my day that was one of the reasons we went! I don't see anything wrong with being human.

None of that strikes me as "Christian bashing."

I went to CNN at lunch today. A man in line in front of me at Chikfila told the cashier that all the kids would be getting out of the final event in a half hour. Some of the other cahiers had obvious looks of dread on their faces because they knew they were about to get slammed.

It's better than rebel warfare I suppose.

I used to be one of those same "Christian kids" and they're just as wild, if not worse, than anyone else when no one is looking.

I attended many church events throughout middle school, high school, and college, and never did I hear or see anything of the sort that you're talking about. This kind of stuff doesn't happen.

The Passion Conference, partially coordinated by Louie Giglio, I can tell you that the man is very serious about Jesus and he has a passion to see the youth of this land brought to Christ. In events in which he is involved, the people in the audience, by and large, are in deep reflection of Christ. It's not a place where you'd find such things you're claiming.

So you were a Christian kid, but you're not now? Please explain.

God's grace is sufficient for thee.

I'm agnostic, but I don't mind Christianity or mind events like this, just as long as you don't attempt to enforce your Christian agenda on me, then it's all good.

That's the problem with the south. Too many people believe the world should be ran with their Christian beliefs.

It's called the Great Commission. Jesus instructed his followers to go out and spread the Good News.

Matthew 28: 16-20

The Great Commission

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
