Literally everything we think we know about Cobb will change in 2017.

Backroom deal to with no public vote to spend hundreds of millions of dollars of property taxes (and other new taxes) to bring the Braves stadium to Cobb (along with crime and traffic).

I didn't like the Braves moving to Cobb County either, but it's unhealthy to dwell on it like you seem to be doing. You might want to talk to a professional about it.

It affects your taxes and commute. Not sure they can alleviate that.

Just curious, what was your handle here before your April 2015 join date?

The impact on many of us will be minimal on both counts. Not sure that changes my view of anything in particular ... except perhaps my view of the individuals involved in that specific decision making process...

Maybe Cobb will make $400M appear out of thin air without raising taxes and this stadium won't bring any additional crime or traffic like basically every other stadium in existence. But on the very slight chance you are wrong, is that a risk people should want to take when considering to where to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in a home?
