I always thought Atlanta deserved one of the Ace Hotels, and this looks like a decent knockoff. I wonder what the lobby environment is going to be like. The Aces have lobbies with music playing at club-level volume with a bunch of people sitting with their laptops pretending to work.

Does seem a bit high, but even Hampton Inns in distant suburbs go for well over $100 a night quite often. A fancy hotel less than five minutes' walk the Beltline, PCM, and numerous other locations will be able to charge a much higher premium.

Rates have already dropped based on demand. Its under $200 for most nights.
