Got it.

Do you like: Chicago, Philly, NYC?

I lived in Chicago for 7 years. It was great. I'm in Columbus, Ohio now for work. Looking to move to a major city that is friendly towards business owners. As much as I would love to live in NYC, it would be to expensive for me to start a business there. I might look into Philly.

I wish Atlanta had "winter" weather. I'd love to live there but I'm a midwestern guy and I love all 4 identifiable seasons.

There's a lot of heartbreak in this town. We have people who don't care for the place but are essentially trapped by the financial benefits they get from living here. So they suffer daily from a lack of vibrancy but have no way out.

Yep, no one actually wishes to be here apparently. Everyone is just trapped in ATL.

The bolded part has me LOL-ing for some reason. It sounds so tragic, as if it should be followed by "Won't you call now and help these desperate people with your gift of just $10 a month?"

You make the assumption that just because someone hates a city that they live in; they hate their life and are miserable people. People like me who don't like Atlanta try to make the best of it and what is here. I have friends, I go to events, I still like walking around Downtown/Midtown sometimes for the hell of it, etc, etc. A dislike for a city doesn't mean you do absolutely nothing.
