My wife and I are trying to get qualified for a home loan. We have a unique situation where our income is significantly understated and our debts overstated going by the standards of most lenders. It's making it difficult to qualify for conventional loans. However, we seem to be within FHA guidelines, even in spite of these handicaps.

All the same, we're finding the process painful and slow-moving with two of the big lenders we've applied to. Does anyone have any recommendations for local lenders here in Atlanta that might specialize in FHA loans?

I got a refi through MiLend. I was pretty happy with the experience. FWIW.
