HI!
I have posted before, and got great insight. But now this has gotten real since we have an offer on our house in NJ and they are looking to close in 6 weeks.
We have narrowed down our areas:north fulton and south forysth. (roswell, alpharetta, johns creek, duluth, suwanee, cumming.
My husband will be working on peach tree industrial, i think considered north atlanta. we were told from alpharetta to office is 25 miles, but more like an hour.
How much longer is commute from south cummming?
We were told that those districts are best especially with special needs kiddos. any big differences between south forysth schools and north fulton?
Every house I have found, seems to be gone! Are things really selling that quick? and some people are so unrealistic about the price, and it has been on and off market for 1-2 years!
I think we like st. marlo country club, winderemere, creekstone estates, white columns, windward,
budget we are trying to stay under 600,000.
any info on schools would be great! My neurotypical child will be starting K also. and Son is 7 with special needs.
anyone know of a great realtor specializing in areas?
thanks!

What type of special needs? That could make a difference in what people recommend. Also, where on P'tree Industrial; that's a very long road.

I have a friend with Downs Syndrome child who is very happy with the program he is in in North Fulton (Milton), BUT, for your husband's sake, you really should concentrate on staying east of 400.

Our son has PDd-nos and apraxia. He is on spectrum, but we have to be very careful as he does not belong in a behavioral class. Communication is big issue, although he is verbal, and struggling with academics. Hubby's works is at Lenox square. I did speak with forysth, and they seemed great. No call back from fulton. I am sure he will be fine in bth, I just worry. We pulls lke hubby's commute not much more than hour, but school comes first!
