Hello, I think I wanna move to Atlanta it's got quite a lot to do for the price of cost much less than LA except like half the size. Do they got a lot of things to do than the usual like I know aquarium and coca cola factory but what is there to do on a day to day type thing? I know most of atlanta is african american i am caucasian american i'm used to more diverse places like 50/50 or like 60 C-A/30 A-M/10 asian. I just want to know if the people are nice basically and accepting and if they stick to there own kind or are more open. I like entertainment and actually one of my favorite shows film in atlanta RHOA and LHHATL (off topic lol) but anyways I might wanna get into entertainment industry. But thanks for all answers! If you know of some diverse schools please tell me the names (middle school) appreciate it.

Everything you are worried about will be fine.

However, if you want to get into the entertainment industry, I don't see why you would leave LA for Atlanta. That's like moving from Nashville to Atlanta to chase a country music dream! There might be some low rent shooting happening in Atlanta, like those reality shows (which I promise are posted in Los Angeles and use producers from LA), but the industry is much, much larger in LA.

well, i have to disagree with ATLTJL about "low-rent" shooting, we're now the #3 location for filming nowadays. check out a lot of the movies being filmed, a good portion of them were filmed in atlanta— flight, the hunger games— check out this link:

Movies Filming in Atlanta

that being said, you can't beat LA for movies and tv shows. it's number one and always will be. new york is a close second.

when it comes to race, the city has everybody, probably about 40-40 blacks and whites with the other 20 being koreans and mexicans. we're pretty diverse. of course, you can find sections of town where *everyone* is black or *everyone* is korean, but those are the exceptions really. the most popular neighbourhoods unfortunately are predominantly white, but everyone's starting to mix in fairly well.
