I put together a quick map of the current and proposed projects in the area:

I'm sure the Publix is excited, but parking there is nightmarish on a regular day. I hope the new residents are walkers!

Sorry to sound so grumpy about progress, but the volume of cars in the area is almost unbearable.
if you're trying to get to Hammond from Lake Hearn Drive, why don't you just take Perimeter Center Parkway instead of turning at Peachtree Dunwoody Rd? That Perimeter Center Parkway bridge over 285 is one of the best kept secrets in navigating around that area (oops i think i may have said too much!)

I call it "The Bridge to Nowhere" and use it whenever I'm heading to the mall area, but it is about 50/50 if it saves anytime at the end of the day because then the left turn onto Hammond puts me back into a long line of cars.

50% is better than none at all. I guess if you don't live in the area, then you would call that bridge that, but I have used that bridge to bypass alot of the traffic around the mall and on the ashford dunwoody bridge over 285, both on weekdays and weekends.

Have you tried Johnsons Ferry / Glendridge to get to where you're going?

This is bad news. That area needs no more cars on the roads.

And these projects aim to allow less people to need cars to drive to work. They could live across from work at Concourse or walk 1/2 mile to Dunwoody station.

Most of those people will be turning a key to start their car in the morning. The vast majority of them.

You are assuming that.

And you are doing? Would be nice to think that everyone in the apartment will be working at the King & Queen, but I'm willing to bet a lot of money that over 80% of these people will be driving to work.
