Ditto.....besides if a nuclear war did indeed erupt Atlanta is on the "a" list to be annihilated. Critical infrastructure is always a high priority target and between the airport and highway intersections, you can bet we have 50 kiloton package pointed at us right now from at least 3 nations. Picture the landscape taking on an eery replication of Tokyo at the end of WWII. Survivors would be less than 3% probably due to our density as much as anything else.

Besides, picture a one hour warning and all of Atlanta jumping into a car and trying to go anywhere. Christ, we can't drive when it's raining....Imagine this?

And that's the first wave.

MRV's are a biotch. Due to our spread, MRV's have to be in store. Shoot one missile and watch upto 10 MRVs spread to cover the "no longer greater Atlanta metropolitan area". Hey, it could be worse, you could be in south Florida. Imagine a couple of million new Yorkers complaining all at once! 5 times worse than a sale at macy's dahlingssssuh......

Nah, crack a cold one and wait for a very, very bright light.....buying a couple months of food and waiting in a pillbox underground doesn't appeal to me. Besides, what are you going to come back up to? A landfill?

It will be ugly for a while but society will pull itself back together. Look at places like Nagasaki, Dresden and Hiroshima that were annihilated by bombing in WWII. They're bustling modern cities (and a lot more walkable than we are).
