MARTA has two routes out to Camp Creek. 82 and 84. 82 goes near neighborhoods off of Welcome All and 84 goes near neighborhoods near off of Fairburn Rd. If you are further out going towards Campbelton Rd or Fulton Industrial then there is no transit service for a large section of Camp Creek. There is no express commuter service downtown which there should be. But the good thing is you are close to 3 Marta Stations. College Park, East Point, and Lakewood station. Parking is gone fast at both College Park and East Point tho so you have to get there early.

If you use Google Maps, hover over the drop down menu toward the right, and check Transit, you can see what the closest lines are to your house. You might have to zoom out, then back in, but you can get an idea of the bus routes. Based on you saying near Enon Road, the closest routes are 84, and 183. 84 runs every 15-20 minutes, and 283 every 40 minutes.
The closest routes to Browns Mill Road leave from Stonecrest Mall. Either way, you'll have a decent drive to transit. The bus routes that get close to Enon Road also don't have park and rides at the fringes of the routes, you have to get closer to Atlanta in order to park.

I would learn toward Lithonia because of the incredible PATH trails that have been built around Panola and Arabia mountains. They are real treasures.

Atlanta's traffic is very bad. Try renting while applying for jobs. After you land a job, then look for a house. You'll then know where to live. As far as location, Camp Creek is closer to Atlanta than Lithonia.

Camp Creek is in Atlanta and College Park, so that's the better location in terms of avoiding traffic.
