I work in public health and I'm amazed by this man's video (Walter Lee Hampton) who lives in Atlanta, GA:

The CDC has stated, there is a high risk of HIV, especially in Sourthern States, primarily with men who have sex with men. In Atlanta GA, the numbers are very high. Black gay males make up the bulk of HIV infection, as do black women.
I am interested in finding out if black women in Atlanta GA ask about the guys sexual orientation. This is important because if he has engaged in sex with men without a condom, there is a very high likelihood that he is HIV positive.
What are your thoughts?

Sheeze. I don't think this should be a "black" or "white" or "yellow" or "red" question. Everyone should have the self-respect to find out, as much as you can anyway, about the sexual history of a potential partner. That's just common sense.

Or better yet, everybody engaging in sex outside of a relationship should use a condom. There is no way to know if you're getting the truth from someone regarding sexual history or HIV status, so if you're really interested in protecting yourself in that situation - just be safe.

If they are 'down low', then why would they tell that they are gay? Isn't that the point of being 'down low'? Just use a condom or stop having sex all the time. That goes for homosexuals or heterosexuals.
