Little Five Points offers a very eclectic mix of restaurants and shops.
Midtown is developing the Midtown Mile, Midtown Mile - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Decatur has a nice town square area.

The Bucket Shop on Lenox Road has the best wings in the entire city and most everything else on the menu is nice too. It also has a very strange and eclectic crowd, Buckhead power players drinking with young people and hardcore alcoholics. It's a cool mix.

Souper Jenny also serves amazing soups and sandwiches.

They're redeveloping several parcels in the Buckhead village area. Mixed use -- office, apartments, retail.

I love all this renewed interest in Buckhead.

It tickles me because for people in the know, Buckhead never lost its luster. It may have fallen out of favor with the trendies and not been the hip happening spot it once was, but Buckhead has pretty much always been and I dare say always will be the most desirable part of Atlanta to do business and live.

When it bounces back with even more new life, I wonder how many people are going to pretend that Buckhead's awesomeness is a new thing.

The fact is, Buckhead never went away to begin with.
