Thanks for posting these articles because I had not heard the discussions about this new city. I agree with the Stonecrest manager, it doesn't seem to be enough commercial property in the area to support a city with all the depressed home values in the area.

How do we know this isn't another power grab by rich suburbanites who want to sever their connections with the core urban area? Seems like Stonecrest may have forgotten that DeKalb made it what it is today.

I think if the city of stonecrest is created then the middle part of unincorporated dekalb county should be turned into the city of east atlanta, atlanta heights or something of
