Probably, but what's so funny (or wrong) about that?

I'm a little surprised they're building a hotel THERE, but hey "another surface lot gone!" I'm sure the supporters of the North Site for the Falcons stadium really like this.

Nice though I wonder what they're going to do about the high voltage lines and matching pylons along the Luckie Street frontage. Seven stories sounds to be about the same height as the pylons so the upper floors will have a nice view of high voltage power lines out their windows. Same goes for the Ivan Allen frontage though it crosses the street so those power lines won't be as close to the windows like on Luckie. Or I might be wrong about the height of the pylons and the height at which the power lines are suspending but either way, they're going to be right in the middle of the view of anyone looking out the window. Should the stadium get built on the north site, maybe these pylons will be relocated as part of the project to relocate the pylons on the stadium site.

The Business Chronicle article only mentions the parking lot but there are several buildings on that block that are in active use. I can't imagine they could get a viable structure out of just the parking lots so I'm going to assume those buildings will be purchased for the project.

Oh yeah the old proposed Aquarium building before the real estate bust. No only do I wish it would have gotten built, but I hope Donald Trump brings his Atlanta tower project back also.

Aquarius wasn't only a nice looking building, it had really interesting floor plans based on circles. It would have been unique for the Atlanta market. They also were planning three bedroom units, which is somewhat rare for a highrise in Atlanta outside of combined units. I was never totally sold on the robo-parking system since it seemed like at peak periods in the morning and afternoon that it'd be backed up but maybe the system would have worked faster than my estimates.

Trump... meh. He wasn't building here, he licensed his name to a local developer who used it for branding. It would have been nice to get a tower in that location but it didn't really matter if it was Trump or not.
