they are getting search warrants to be able to draw the blood so I guess, they are following the Supreme Court ruling.

I saw this on Fox 5 news last night that this was going on in Gwinnett County. They actually showed a clip of a couple of ppl being strapped down for refusing to take the breathalyzer. All I can say is be very careful driving home and know your limit before driving anywhere and especially Gwinnett County.

I don't see it improving much with so many against expanding Marta. I am just wondering how the blood is being drawn, are the police bringing phlebotomists with them? When they radio in they are pulling over a possible DUI are they dispatching the paramedics also???

The reporter is named Randy Travis.

Isn't that the name of a country music artist who recently was busted for DUI?

Now...from a practical point of view, my view as a libertarian is that your rights should not be violated, up and until they violate my rights. Driving drunk on public roads certainly violates my rights, and although implied consent provides a penalty for not taking a test, it's a loophole to avoid a DUI conviction.

My simple solution is this...DON'T DRIVE DRUNK. I don't. If any of my children ever did (and I hope they wouldn't), I'd be the first one to help hold their sorry ass down while the nurse inserts the needle. You make a choice when you get behind the wheel. Call a cab. Call a friend. Walk. Sleep it off. Don't drive.
