Everyone has their own opinion of beauty. Personally I like the rolling hills of Piedmont Park with the Midtown skyline raising behind it.

Eastside Atlanta between midtown / downtown and Decatur (Which also includes the before mentioned Druid Hills and Piedmont Park). All IMO of course.

I second [EDIT: third] that. Wide streets, mature landscaping, midtown skyline peeking through said landscaping, rolling hills and mouthwatering houses.

Trying to think of somewhere not already mentioned but you guys have already taken my favorites. The first one that came to mind before I read any of the posts is the stretch of Ponce thru Druid Hills. Is there a prettier drive in a major city anywhere?

Someone else has mentioned my favorite Cobb County spots: Kennesaw Mountain, Chattahoochee River National Park, the Covered Bridge....

The skyline view from Piedmont Park....

Just about any street bewtween Peachtree and 75 in Buckhead...

One of my favorites is the view of the skyline when you are driving in from the west on 20 just above Six Flags. Since most of my time outside of Atlanta has been either in AL or TX, this is the view that greets me when I come home. If it is dusk or at night and that view is lit up, it brings a tear every time.

I love Atlanta.

Right on, I can totally relate to that feeling. That view is an awesome welcome back home.

So many of the best have already been mentioned, but I have to add the area along the Chattahoochee b/t 285 and 75. Great trails and hills, no freaking way that is so close to the city!

IMO it is between North Buckhead, Dunwoody and the area around Panola Mountain with the rolling hills and beautiful trees

What a breath of fresh air this question is. It's nice to see something positive.

I'm looking forward to hearing the answers.

I have always thought Habersham Road south of West Paces Ferry Road is incredibly beautiful in the spring.

Also need to consider Sandy Springs along the river, particularly the Riverside Drive area.
