my wife has been offered a great job at northside hospital in atlanta, we need to live within 30minutes for her to be called in. any suggestions, we need a 3br that takes small dogs my 21 year old daughter is coming with so a safe area is much needed. budget in the 1500 to 2000 month rental area. looking at the London apt complex in sandy springs, any input would be appreciated. moving time will be august sept 2013

That is a great location. There are lots of apartment complexes in that area and it is safe with lots to do. I can't speak specifically about the complex but the area around Perimeter Center is great. Easily within 30 minutes and if she really wanted to, she could hop on the train and take it one stop to the Medical Center. However, that will take longer than driving. Keep in mind, though, that at rush hours, the roads right around the Hospital get very congested. She will have several options to get to work via either the highway (one stop) or back roads.

Anywhere in Sandy Springs/Dunwoody should work fine. You might be able to rent a house or townhouse in that area with your budget as well unless you really want an apartment.
