Absolutely not. I want this city to keep growing at a fast rate. I don't care where anyone is from as long as they are a good citizen. I'm very happy to live in a place that attracts people from all over.

I'd be even happier if they started coming here at twice the rate they are now. The more the merrier.

No. Most of the good things in this city wouldn't exist if Atlanta had closed borders. Anyway, we're all transplants.

jeez louis...why is there so much resentment towards transplants? Transplants add flavor to Atlanta, just like they add flavor to NYC, and my place of birth Los Angeles. If Atlanta wants to be respected as a world-class city, then it must become a little more tolerant to different cultures. As JPD said "we are all transplants".

I think the resentment is held by a small, yet very vocal, group of people.
