"The Big Nerd Ranch apparently needs more ranch.

The Atlanta-based mobile app developer will more than double its East Atlanta headquarters and boost its workforce by about 30 percent as it races to keep pace with demand.

BNR decided to stay in the Kirkwood area because its employees live there and bike, walk and take public transportation to work, a spokeswoman said..."

If they want to be MEGA Nerd Ranch, they should buy the old Pullman Yard and build an huge HQ there. It's close to where they're going to move to. Though the time to turn it into a usable space is probably too large for a quickly growing company. It'd be nice if someone bought that property and did something great with it.

They did a nice job of converting what was already an old empty warehouse space into their offices. I'm curious as to how they will expand as it is not a very large lot.

As far as the Pullman Yard is concerned, I'd like to see it become more of an open use space with some retail mixed in rather than just an office park. I think that would be a waste of the space.
