Try Richards Variety Store. Two locations: Peachtree Battle Shopping Center and Midtown Place. An impressive collection of Asian objets.

Also try

Farmers Market in Atlanta, Georgia | Buford Highway Farmers Market

Hmart.com: Online Shopping for Asian Grocery, Korean Kimchi, Rice Cookers, Appliances & more at everyday low prices. (there is a Doraville location too if you are going to be in that area of town for the Buford Highway Farmer's Market)

What is an "oriental" gift shop? I haven't heard this term in years. Is this an intention to ask for a gift shop that sells Asian products?

It's actually perfectly acceptable to refer to items as Oriental. The reason we call Asian people Asian instead of Oriental now is because Oriental refers to items, not people. So it's still ok to say Oriental so long as you aren't referring to people.

Yep, I've never heard anyone refer to "Asian rugs," but I've definitely heard of "Oriental rugs."
