That's what Nairobi does when he or she doesn't have a rebuddle.

I'll leave a review in a few days. All I can say is, I exhausted myself from all of the fun that I had. Our days started at 10am and ended at 5am...every day.

I had so much fun, I find it laughable when I read posts like yours. We had a full day everyday. The weather was fantastic. We had a nice rental car and we put major miles on it. We were very impressed with Atlanta and very warm welcome we received when some of the locals found out we were from out of town.
One lady even encouraged us to move there. I thought that was very nice.

The key to having a good time anywhere is to CONNECT with the locals. They'll point you in the right direction. That's what city data is for. GerryTheSnake made 100% top notch suggestions. He was the perfect "host" although we've never met in person, he really plugged me in from a locals perspective.

We hit places only a local would know about.

Boy-o-boy did I have fun.........non-stop.

Atlanta is a great city and I look forward to moving there.

I wonder what some of you are looking for? If you wanted Philly, why didn't you just stay there? You went to Atlanta looking for Philly. No wonder why you're disappointed. You failed to accept Atlanta and it's special offerings.

Did you even socialize with the locals? We did, and many were very cool. As if they were long time friends. A far cry from the Midwest/Northern part of the country where people can be very abrasive and uninviting. It was a breath of fresh air to have women APPROACH ME for once and introduce themselves. Yes, I met a gal on my first night there. Yup, we exchanged numbers too. In case you care, I live in Ohio and she lives in Atlanta.

Atlanta is a very special place.

Unfortunately CD attracts the most miserable people and the people will never be happy anywhere, let alone a great city like Atlanta.

I'm the official CD "Mayor of Atlanta"

This^^^^ I feel so bad for some of you peope. You could have a bungalow over the waters of Bora Bora and still have a miserable life. "I hate it here cause Bora Bora dosen't have the best cheesesteaks."

Heavy rail would be better, but Seattle's Light rail is reasonably fast. I took it from the airport to downtown.

Unfortunately, this downtown is abandoned by its residents and its government. Too much focus has been on Midtown and Uptown. Heck, they're losing a baseball team to the suburbs for crying out loud!

The existing Braves stadium was not even connected for the most part to downtown as opposed to the new Falcons Stadium or the Philips Arena and visitors had to take a shuttle from the Five Points MARTA station. So it is hardly a loss to Downtown Atlanta.
