Two shabby sites on the strip-clubbiest stretch of Piedmont Road are prepping for a little cosmetic surgery. If you've stopped by Tower Wine & Spirits recently to stock the bar for our icy doom, you may have noticed some improvements on the lot to the north (across Lakeshore Drive, further away from the Buford-Spring Connector). That's because efforts have begun to convert the existing, aging body shop into a more modern, eye-pleasing service destination called Anthem Automotive. We don't have a ton of details, but the building permits were approved in December, and a website promises Anthem will be "opening soon..."
