Also, while East Cobb might work, make sure you are fairly close to GA92, which would make the commute a straight shot, albeit a congested one.
Parts of East Cobb close to 120 wouldn't be a bad commute at all. It normally is smooth sailing going that way in the morning.

Moving from PA so do not know the areas so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I constantly hear things about the school system in East Cobb (one of the multiple in Marietta) and the school system in Alpharetta being the best in the metro.

Commuting to Roswell, I'd probably go for Alpharetta. The traffic isn;\tt going to be all that pleasant either way. I don't know how the school systems are in Roswell, but quite a bit of the area looks nice so maybe you could consider moving to Roswell itself. Also, give some thought to Woodstock and the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area.

A lot is going to depend on whether you want to buy or rent and how much you're willing to pay.

OK, look, without any idea of price range, we are going to have a hard time suggesting areas. You can find homes anywhere from 200's all the way up into the multi-millions in that area that you are looking at. Give us a range, and we can suggest some areas to look at. Even something like "200's - 300's" could help us direct you to more specific suggestions.

Also, are you interested in a swim/tennis neighborhood? Are you violently anti-HOA's? Approximate school level of kids -- elementary, middle, high?

Give us something to work with! :-) Telling us "good schools" is a bit of a given, you know? No one ever comes on here and says they want BAD schools!
