Anyone know some good rim shops in Atlanta with a good selection and decent prices?

Looking to get some custom rims + tires when my current ones wear out.

^Yeah...no. I had them roll my fenders on my car when I upgraded to wider wheels after my brother had his Lexus done there and claimed they knew what they were doing. They proceeded to cut my fenders up w/ a die grinder and peel the fender up like a can opener b/c they said it was faster than heating the paint and using the roller. Still had gall to charge me $200+ after they destroyed the paint on my 2 yr old car. They previously charged me $120 for a center cap I lost on a wheel (Volk Racing).

Buy a package online...a lot of them do free shipping and more custom fitments than you can get locally. Butler overcharges for most everything and can't possibly keep an adequate selection on hand.

I got my rims and tires at Discount Tire. You can look at the selection online and go into the store and purchase them there. They have really good quick service.

I feel stupid. I didn't know Discount Tire had shops and I was afraid of buying something offline and having to find someone to put them on.

Thank you. This will be the first place I go so I can actually talk to people and see the rims in person.

A good set of rims should last a long time if you take care of them. I'd be careful to get the right size tire and to avoid banging them against the curb. I'd also avoid cleaning them with harsh abrasives. Personally I'd avoid automated car washes -- I don't like those tracks that pull your wheel through the machinery.

I'd invest in a good microfiber wheel brush. And don't forget to wax them every now and then. They'll look sharp for years to come!

I meant when the tires wear out. I wanted to get them both (new rims + new tires) together, but thanks.
