I think it depends on the location of the casino. I've seen them do great things as far as revitalizing Downtowns, but I would worry about putting one in the middle of a largely residential area.

It helps to read the actual article . This is from the Cumberland CID. It is not Cobb County tax money.

It certainly doesn't help. Everyone's been lulled into this feeling that no matter how good they are in the regular season, the Braves will stink it up in the playoffs. Just look at what's been happening the past 4 seasons. Even in the aforementioned 2002 and 2003 seasons, the Braves immediately got bounced out in the NLDS...
