The Braves were a major economic plus when they were in COA and they wib as well.
I think most visitors will still get a hotel room downtown and then drive to Cobb for the game especially with all the new amenities the city will have by then

This should be a win for Cobb, COA and the Braves.
I'm glad we were able to keep the team in town. Good on Cobb for stepping up when we needed them.
Yep. All that prosperity the Braves brought to Summerhill will soon be spreading to Cumberland.
Well, it's unfortunate what happened (or didn't happen) at the current site.
However the team finally has the ability to develop around the stadium and they have jumped on it with both feet. So hopefully it will be better for all concerned.

The Braves also declined to comment.
Commissioner Bob Ott said he’s surprised to hear that there are questions hanging over the bridge. “We were told all along that it was part of the plan” …
This thing will turn into marlins park, all promises about the village.
I don't think so. Marlins Park seemed to have a bunch of empty promises for nearby development that never materialized, whereas the new Braves stadium already has some specific plans in place.
