If TOD's will work for Marta they should work for the Beltline right?

From what I know, I believe yes. They just have to get government approval.

Kinda hard when there is no transit on the Beltline and there still is no timeline for transit.

I have faith in our mayor. He said he will hopefully have funding for it in a year from now

Speaking of which, the COA recently was approved for receiving federal funding for transit. Apparently this was done before solely through MARTA. This coupled with Reed's P3 talk... I think they are really getting serious about streetcar expansion, crosstown and Beltline. Won't be quick though.

And about TOD and the Beltline. A huge part of the Beltline is the overlay, a plan for developing land surrounding the Beltline. This essentially is TOD as the land use plans are based off the idea that transit will be running on the Beltline.

How can there be TOD when there's no T? Development is already happening along the beltline anyway...
