Buy Delta Companion Pass (Atlanta: live in, costs, airport)

Hi all,

I live in South Africa and have a sister in Atlanta and a girlfriend in Charlotte. I would like to be able to travel more regularly to America to visit them, but also need to spend time in South Africa as I have children here. It would mean the world to me if I could find someone willing to sell me their Delta companion pass as it would dramatically reduce my flight costs and mean I'd be able to visit my girlfriend more regularly. Delta flies direct, so my guess they would be the best airline to go with, or am I wrong?
Is there anyone who has information on how I could go about getting in touch with someone who could help me?

From a random employee? I doubt any one will do that on a public forum as it risks termination.

Befriend a current employee and have them 'give' you their travel companion benefits.

Well, there is a difference between the buddy pass and companion pass. The companion pass being for a year and unlimited flights. People are willing to give out buddy passes easier, but the cost of the flight will be substantially higher.

Go over to the airport and start crying, maybe someone will be nice.

never heard of a companion pass. I'm assuming that is not an average employee benefit?

Companion Pass => Companion Certificates

A reward that can be taken out of your Freq Flyer Account to allow someone to 'buy a ticket' with miles as long as they travel with you. Normally used when One person is flying on company paid trip, to bring there spouse with them.

It is a normal benefit. You can designate someone your travel companion if you are not married or in a domestic partnership. It gives the designated companion a large discount, but less of a discount than if they were your husband, wife, or partner. They fly under your seniority, unlike a buddy pass where they have a seniority below active employees and retirees.

Travel companion is different than the companion pass mentioned above.
