We will have a four year old this fall. We would like to take advantage of the pre-k lottery program. Am I correct that the only public pre-k program available to us is the one in our school district, i.e. Sagamore Hills? Also, does anyone recommend any particular private pre-k lottery funded programs in my area?

Any other tips for a newbie would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can check out Coralwood (a DeKalb County public school that serves students with special needs but has an inclusion program). It is lottery based.

but yes, Sagamore is really you only public option.

Check the curriculums. They don't all teach the same. Some are drastically different from others in content. Good luck.
