While that was big news, more construction fences just a block south could signal the start of an even bigger development... maybe. A Curbed reader reports seeing new fences go up around the parking lot at Peachtree and 6th streets, the site of the long-proposed 35-story EVIVA Peachtree tower.

Midtown

This one is solidly in the "I'll believe it when I see it" column.

Doesn't prove a thing. Trump towers near the Art Center station did the same thing with signage and still didn't come into fruition.

You make a good point but the way I look at it times have changed since then plus this is an apartment building not a condo

In one short week, the EVIVA Peachtree tower has switched from being Atlanta’s most painfully lethargic development to (nearly) construction-ready. Developer the Integral Group is chomping at the bit to begin work at Peachtree and 6th streets on a long-anticipated high-rise that could boost the city's design prowess, we're told.

EVIVA on Peachtree is happening in Midtown Atlanta

I will believe when I see it. Integral should stick with its mixed income (Ashley type) apartment developments; they just can't seem to graduate to Skyscraper level in Atlanta. Heck, they even recently announce another project near GT. The project was announced back in 2014.
