They obviously don't have a lot of details of their plans out, and I am sure people will find something to hate about it, but that is a good team of people that will do the site justice.

So the other top bid is a movie studio? I can imagine residents wouldn't be happy about that, as that's a completely insulated, private use of the land. They would basically be taking premium land and buildings in that neighborhood and completely removing them from any public use or access. That seems worse than Fuqua even, at least his developments have some public purpose and accessibility, even if it is just a walmart.

I personally like to replace every 4, just to be safe.
Do we follow these same rules for our professional stadiums?

Yes it will and adds no value to the neighborhood. Once the tax incentive is over, so will that development.

It's sage advice. Think of all the aspects of your life you can apply it to: cars, jobs, mattresses, spouses, computers, etc.

Someone set a reminder for Arthur Blank to start asking for funds for a new stadium in 2021

So the two top bids, one is shady and had no earnest money, and the other is a movie studio that will add nothing.

Seems no good news will come of this then no matter what.

What have they done that was so shady? Where did you read that they didn't have the earnest money?

What offer are you hoping they go with?

Too long to explain, but there is a history with ACP, this property, and Kirkwood.

To answer your question about earnest money:
But, who do you want to get the bid? Are there no good options at this point?
