Why can't those Dunwoody people stay in their own zip code?

because they're too busy pretending to live in atlanta.

lakewood is pretty rough. it's up there with pittsburgh and the bluff as the roughest ones in town. take a drive up 54 from clayton if you think i'm lying. it goes from relatively nice, to completely rural, to shot out windows and absolute poverty in about a one mile span. i don't think lakewood has the drug traffic the others two do; someone correct me if i'm wrong. it's just very, very poor. i haven't seen living conditions that poor anywhere else in the atlanta city limits. those folks need help.

that being said, lakewood especially at the corner of jonesboro and lakewood has the potential to be a really cool little urban village; but right now those buildings are only home to a few pawn shops and the rest are abandoned. it'll probably be the next east atlanta village in 15 years. i'd bet money on that (if i had any, LOL).

I can't believe Clayton county didn't make the list. There was just another shooting at the gas station near my office on Old National.

Great observation, a town square could be built where the restaurant exist now. In the form of the proposed Loudermilk Park in Buckhead Village. https://www.google.com/maps/preview#...!2m1!1e3&fid=7

I've always had the same impression...and if East Atlanta can make a comeback, there's hope for Lakewood.

'Demographics' are the primary factor in deciding where I live and travel, which is why I currently reside in North Idaho.

Lots of guns yet little crime.

Spokane, on the other hand........
