I'd like to give my child's teacher a gift card to a restaurant for Valentines Day as she stayed late at school last Tuesday making sure our kids were safe--and spent the night at school.

She lives in East Cobb and I was wondering if you all could help me out. Is there a nice restaurant in the area that would fit the bill? I'm not familiar enough with the area. Thank you!

Seed! Or Stem, the wine bar next to Seed. (Marlow's Tavern is also good.)

Seed is wonderful but quite pricey. Other options could be Zoës Kitchen or the Movie Tavern.

Does your school have a price limit on gifts? One school district I worked in capped gifts to $25 max and we could lose our job if we accepted anything over that.

A letter to the school principal (copy for teacher) describing what the teacher did and how it effected your child/family is something that has lasting value.
