We work from home, commute is no issue. We are a family of four, sons age 11 and 19. The 19 year old goes to the University of Alabama.

Both communities seem amazing. We are wanting the town that has the most community feel, events, parks, green space etc....

The schools in both towns seem great, if I am incorrect, please let me know.

Our 11 year old plays the violin, runs road races (cross country) and is interested in Lacrosse. We all love to swim so a nice rec center or community pool whether through the community or YMCA.

I think that's it. Just trying to decide between the two!

Thanks!

Suwanee is much closer to this description than Johns Creek, but if you're more than a couple of miles from Suwanee Town Center park, you'll scarcely notice the difference between the two areas. Johns Creek has no real community center, historic or otherwise, in the same sense that Suwanee does.

Thank you. Our budget is open. We obviously for reasons that would make Dave Ramsey proud we want the best neighborhood with sidewalks and community feel that money will buy at the least amount, but we are willing to pay in the upwards of 600K if needed. BUT NOT PREFERRED. We don't have to spend it because we can -- we just want a nice family home for a family of four in a GREAT town/ neighborhood.

What town has the most character or uniqueness out of these two towns? Is there another town nearby that beats these towns for what we are looking for?

Thank you so much!

If you are looking for character or uniqueness I would suggest Roswell. I don't imagine those adjectives would apply to Johns Creek. Roswell has a cute historic area as well as good schools and amenities.

Check them both out. Suwanee will probably offer more bang for your buck. Other posters are correct, Johns Creek - while I like the area - really isn't much of a community in the traditional sense.

If I had that much money to spend on a house and didn't have a commute to worry about, I'd definitely look in Milton.
