I just bought a home in Ormewood park in October. Unfortunately we missed the deadling in renewing our termite bond from the former owners. (They gave us a few weeks notice, but it slipped through the cracks.)

Arrow came out today. They quoted the treatment for just over $650 which is a one time cost. Then they would need to come inspect once a year for $250 each year. The termite warranty is transferrable to a new owner for no cost.

Our house is 1 story, on a crawlspace, 950 square feet, and 138 linear feet around. (So it's fairly small) I havent done much shopping around. (Mainly because I don't have the time to continually make myself available for inspections.) Is this a decent deal? Do I have room to negotiate down here?

Thanks for any feedback!

Two story on slab in north fulton....about 1000 sq ft perimeter (downstairs). $650 initial as well but $160/following 9 yrs (with a 10% cap on possible increase per year). Also transferable to new owner for no cost. My slab was already pre-drilled from prior treatment from previous owners, so all they had to do was remove plugs, spray, and refill the slab holes.

I didn't shop, so I don't know if the rate is good...Hope that helps though!

The company I use (Swat Services) is quoting $780 for a 7-year term at $185 per year for maintenance. All of this seems high to me.
