Hey everyone,

I will be starting a new job at the beginning of June in Norcross and I am in search of an apartment in the North/Northeast areas of Atlanta. Some information about me include:

1. Spending between $500-$700 for monthly rent.
2. Easy access to subway, either Doraville or North Springs Station.
3. Suburban lifestyle
4. Commuting to work
5. No children
6. Demographics? Preferably young, safe community, easy access to parks/recreation

Overall I am looking for a nice, quiet, safe area, but also close to shopping centers. Is anyone currently living near Lawerenceville or Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area? How do you like it there? I have done some apartment searching already and a few places in those areas have peaked my interest, but how are the neighborhoods/community?

If anyone knows of a good area to search in or a good apartment complex, can you please tell me? Your help is appreciated.

Sandy Springs would be a great area to live.

Lawrenceville is too far out in the suburbs, as a young college graduate I would not recommend that area. It is a much better fit for a family raising kids

Live in Norcross. No reason to unnecessarily give yourself a 30+ minute commute.
