We are looking into moving to Alpharetta/Johns Creek area and have found a house in the Tuxford subdivision in Alpharetta. We were wondering if we could get some feedback as to how active it is socially (for both our kids ages 11 and 13 as well as for the adults). We saw it's relatively near to a supermarket and a Walgreens. Are there any other supermarkets nearby or a Walmart? We were also interested in the Cambridge subdivision in Johns Creek. Is one better than the other? Thank you for any feedback you can give us!

I have heard good things about Tuxford, but don't know that area as well. Alpharetta is packed with shopping, you can barely go a few traffic lights without hitting a Publix or Kroger, and there are all kinds of drug stores, etc. I have friends in Cambridge and live one subdivision down from it, and it's a great community. Very active and the pool is amazing, water slides, etc. All the kids want to be invited over there, lol. It is very large, so there are usually houses for sale in there. My friend is a realtor and chose that community, so I figured she must know! Good luck!
