There. Tied the topics together! :-)
Actually the Data is from ACI (Airport Council International) website, and not the city of Atlanta. In your attempt to be a smart a@#.

It's very important for Atlanta. Why is that being insecured?

There is no way it will grow from 83 million to 200 million in just 11 years.

PEK is actually a HUGE transfer airport. It is a large hub for 3 larger airlines. Hubs bring transfers... that is what a hub is.

Pretty much any airport on the top of the passenger county list has to be a hub. That is how they get passenger counts so much higher than the others.

Back to 2003, only 24.4 million people traveled through PEK and NAY.
Ten years later in 2013, Beijing airports handled 88.1 million, 83.7m in PEK and 4.4m in NAY.

It's possible. Even if not in 2025, It can approach 200m maybe 2 or 3 years after that year. won't be far apart from it.

The problem is that PEK is too far for south Beijing. And most people choose to go with high speed rail (all train stations are in south beijing). If Daxing airport is open, it can stimulate lots of flyers in the south.

PEK is an international portal for China. Most of the transfer is for domestic-international. That won't count up too much(about 15 million). O&D passengers count for at least 65-70%.

What important to Atlanta is having a hub and its many routes. That's it. Being #1 is artificial anyway. Many larger cities have more than one airport, which is splitting their traffic.
