Slow progress, from what I've heard. It's been integrated into the first couple of phases of the Beltline plan, so it may be at least 5 years or so until it gets more fully developed.

But someone else closer to the project/Beltline may be able to weigh in with more specifics.

Wanted to make sure everyone here at City-Data was aware that we're doing the 2nd Annual Waterworks Park Friendraiser next Tuesday, April 28th 6-8PM. The info page is here:

https://www.facebook.com/events/576448445790943/

There are drinker and non-drinker ticket options. We've got even more food than last year, too--Atlanta restaurants West Egg/Oddbird, Souper Jenny, Ormsby's, Figo, and Grecian Gyro will all be there. Several folks from City Council and other city organizations will also be in attendance. There will be updates on the park planning process, and we'll briefly hear from some Westsiders who used the park before the fences went up almost 20 years ago. It's actually a pretty good deal, even if you're just looking for dinner and drinks. But of course it's for a good cause, with money going towards our park restoration efforts.

Hope to see many of you there! Get tickets here: Atlanta Waterworks "Friendraiser"

Went to the last friendraiser and it was fun. Hope you have more of those special beer glasses with the faucet logo.
