No. His tax dollars already paid for that lane and he should be able to ride on it for free

yes, every time that man bought gas, his tax dollars helped paid for the orginal HOV lane.

i just hate it when folks cross the solid white line,and attempt go to from 0mph to 55mph when im in the lane.

If you're not too in love with your car, it seems that's the perfect opportunity to get a new one on someone else's insurance. Obviously the airbag bruises and any broken bones would need some extra $$$ for the pain and suffering.

Gas taxes cover less than a third of the costs of roads. Plus they have very expensive on-going costs.

That as a single occupant still could not have driven in without an extra passenger in that original lane.
