The sound barriers separate the trail from the freeway as well.

I can see an adult cyclist riding next to the traffic but a parent pushing a stroller?

Exactly. And the trail is grade separated from the highway so I really don't see an issue. Yea, it's not an ideal location, but it's not like this trail acts as a 'sidewalk' for the highway. Jeez...

There are trees, sound barriers, grade separations, etc. From what I've seen it's not like you can be on the trail and reach out and touch the traffic on the highway.

And if you and others are referring to the section that runs along Lenox Rd, well how is that any different from strolling down any normal city street? Actually it's a bit better, because even that part is fenced off from the street.

I mean, what the heck am I missing? Is there a picture somewhere that shows Path400 meeting directly with the highway, pavement-to-pavement???

It is not next to the freeway. It is grade separated, you make it sound like the paved trail will be a sidewalk. Look at the picture in the first post, PATH400 is going to be like that, separated from the freeway by varying widths and a sound barrier. If the Buckhead Betty's don't want to push their strollers, then have the nanny do it.

Haha - Yeah, let's be honest. Buckhead Betty's aren't going to be putting in any sort of manual labor.

Okay, that sounds more like the section I have seen. It is separated from the road sort of like the Freedom park trail.

I was getting the impression from other posts that you literally had to walk along the edge of GA 400.

Not at all and I have no clue why folks believe this is the case.

Yes one of the picture makes it appear like the trail is right next to speeding cars.Thats why some of us are wondering whats the real deal.

People think that because that is exactly how it is portrayed in the pictures. (EDIT: Afonega beat me to it.)
