Hi Everyone,

I will be relocating to Atlanta in the next month, and I need some help finding an area to live!

I am:

-Male, early 20's
-Single, no kids
-Price Range $1100-$1500/month
-Looking for an apartment
-Looking for an area with nightlife and restaurants, and other people my age.

I've done some research and many people mention Virginia Highlands and midtown as good places to live?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

If your looking to live around your age group and social scene midtown, VH, or buckhead. You won't regret it. Then suck it up & commute to work like everyone else.

Short-term, I'd look at Auburn Ave or Edgewood Ave, or midtown.

Also, look at this. I see this more as a guide when you are close to wanting a family, personally. None of these places have night life right now. The only places on this list that have a chance of having night-life in the future are Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Smyrna. I guess they are the best cities for boring young adults like myself, for now.

Midtown, VH are good. Check out stuff in Inman and O4W along the Beltline too. Buckhead if preppy is more your thing. L5P, EAV if you want more the hipster route.

Decatur? Tons of bars, restaurants and things for young adults to do.
