Good for a lot including family. One of the best hoods in Atlanta.
I actually live here.

Buckhead residential neighborhood right on top of Lindbergh.

Holy moley! The folks who live in Alpharetta commute to Buckhead--the folks who live in Buckhead are commuting to Alpharetta!!! Can't we all just get along?!?

Aaaaahhh....Peachtree Hills....home of the $700,000 bungalow...great neighborhood indeed...you just need to have the greenbacks!

As for your potential commute, you're probably looking at 30 minutes to Alpharetta and 45-60 minutes back to Peachtree Hills. Your headaches will be the GA400/Perimeter interchange and Sidney Marcus Blvd. Also on nights of a Braves/Thrashers/Yellow Jackets Football game, there is the potential that it could take you up to 90 minutes to get home.

One more thing--make sure you buy a Cruise Card for GA 400 so you don't have to wait in line to pay the tolls.

I actually drive to Haynes Bridge in Alpharetta regualry.

Obviously depends on conditions, but I would say 30 minutes.

Oh yeah, cruise card is essential! 3-5 minutes saved during traffic easily.
