Of the three, Morrow is the closest to the MARTA rail system, but none of those towns have stations in them. MARTA's southernmost point is at the airport, which puts you a minimum 5 miles from the closest station. You can't "commute" from the airport station due to the cost of parking, so you'd have to go to the next station up in College Park.

What's got you looking at those three areas, and where are you looking to work?

Yep. What he said.

The Atlanta golden rule is to "live close to where you work", as you'll soon discover when you see the traffic here. As Bob said, you can't part at the airport MARTA station and you'll still have a commute to College Park. I don't know if things have got better or not, but I know that a few years ago there was a bit of a problem with cars getting broken into at the College Park lot too - maybe that's cleared up now, as I haven't heard anything.

Personally I think Morrow and Jonesboro have gone downhill a lot in the last few years. Fayetteville is still an ok smaller town, and Peachtree City is very nice. Both of those are further out and you won't really have access to anything public transit wise except the limited Express bus system we have. If your schedule is right, they might be of help as you can park in the park-n-ride lots for them and ride the bus into the city. Here's the system map for the "Xpress" bus routes: http://www.xpressga.com/route_pages/XpressSystem.htm (broken link)

If you already have a job lined up and tell folks here where it's located, more suggestions will come in for places to possibly live I'm sure.
